Iron Horse

When the old meets the new and the imagination predominates, then emerged the Iron Horse. Made of steel iron, bronze and copper embodies the glamor of greatness with his emblem the silver sculpture horse, accompanied by copper and iron. An Italian-German jewel Mesersmith of the 1958 was my first experimental project 17 years ago in Vespa- Scooter territories.

With small touches given a Steampunk art style, which refers strongly in post-industrial revolution My first step was to preserve the original engine of '58, I replaced with the most up to date PE 150cc By Piaggio, for better performance and greater durability. Next step I replaced the original front system with a repaired tween arms front By Lambreta, I also replace front fender and saddle construction with lever gear system equipped with spring suspension for more comfortable ride.

Next step were more wide wheels for better adhesion (Grip) on the road I also construct behind the driver saddle a metal grid that accommodates optional second removable small saddle with spring. A Len front and above the handlebar, an old school bicycle bell, the metal mask lantern and bone levers gave a beautiful finish to the Piaggio handlebar.

An additional cabinet in apron from PX 200 and protection bars at the engine with caps, dress harmoniously the scooter frame. The horns on the front right and left and the tie in the middle of the spring, gave the result of a special handmade scooter, along with the oxidation and colours, appear as a reference point onto the scooter named Iron Horse.

The silver horse emblem front will remind that the scooter had, has and will have many miles gallop, with feeling between this and the rider, as with horses and their owners, with an original special and unique retro style.
